This morning (the 13th in Brisbane) we had both John Bentley and the entire Northeast clan arrive into sunny Brisbane. John will be getting his rental and proceeding directly to Warwick and has already been assigned team duties. He will do some shopping, parts assembly and scouting for us.
Chad and his gang grabbing their rental van and came to the Cosmo Hotel where we are staying. Once we got back from our daily exploration of the city, we had a good catch up on family & RC related stuff (and water skiing!) as we haven't seen Agnes since Italy in 2019. The boys have grown significantly and are now teenagers... with Mathew having his drivers license!
They went over to a BBQ hosted by Mark Hu and his wife and met up with all sorts of RC types. Looks like it was well attended based on FB photos. (I think Chad came back with a plane stand and Jeti RX as well :-)
Both Henry and Michi's crew will be departing Sunday evening (the 13th in Vancouver) and arriving on the 15th in Brisbane. Yes a bit confusing.
