Epilogue

 Hi folks

Well the entire team has now returned home to Canada... and John made it back to the USA :-)

It was a great trip for all involved and I am very pleased with the effort everyone made to compete at this level. It is clearly a grind but the effort put in is definitely worth it. Representing your country at an international event is always a privilege.

We have some additional paperwork to send into MAAC in order to meet their requirements but that should be done within the next few weeks give or take. A Team Manager's report on the event and a Technical Report on the equipment used and our general observations during the event itself.

I must say it was refreshing to see these planes unrestricted in their operation, unlike Canada which is now in the midst of a huge over regulation of our part of the hobby. Restricted to certain altitudes and additional testing in order to fly in controlled airspace has put a huge damper on our ability to run contests and practice our schedules, especially where I live in Victoria.   It has just crushed us, plain and simple.

In closing, one last big Thank You to all those folks that supported us through the past year and followed along on our journey!

Clear skies!
